Took a break from helping the bb’s out at Winnie cause of school and personal mattah’s but i’m back now… ready to share bb love all over the netzzz. Features Robin Carnage’s new project “Baalaclava”, loved this.
Abel is back with “Kiss Land”, he previewed his single “John Carpenter” and at 3:50ish we get the full song. I’ve gotta say that I was very hesitant to listen to Abel’s new work, his last project made a clear statement of his transition into the mainstream. I’m glad that he delivered, i’m excited to hear this album. I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again…. icon in the making.
CYBER - DOWN LOW (FEAT. GREEN HYPNOTIC)
PRODUCED BY ME.
SOMETHING THAT IM PROUD OF.
Our neighbor from Montreal has dropped “Down Low” which has Cyber & Green Hypnotic. This track was an instrumental before this, it seems like he liked what these two did to the track. Don’t sleep on his show this Sunday at Fortune Sound Club. It’s gonna be one hell of a show.

Did a simple mash-up with MR•CAR/\ACK & ARNOLD’s “Muney (Gimme Dat)” & Tommy Kruise’s “Hypnotize” w/ Dem Franchize Boyz first single “White Tee” over it.
I came across Andrea while looking for The XX & Blackbird Blackbird remixes, what I found was a whole beautiful catalog of music that didn’t disappoint at all. It’s been a while since I’ve really liked an artist AND nobody in my music scene seems to know about. Finding music first now a days is a rare and lost art, I always took proud in finding good new shit… well this is my first in a long fucking time. From his first tracks to the newest his style is strongly presented but the amount of talent that this cat has grown is incredibly impressive. From his first track a year ago “By This River” to the Cruising EP released Sunday, he has delivered a huge amount of music for within a year… and it’s all free. The Cruising EP is probably my favorite work from him so far, all three tracks are incredibly beautiful plus the features are well done for what he wants to deliver. The remixes are just as good with Slow Magic’s being my favorite track from the EP. I highly suggest checking this cat out before everyone finds out, click the pic above to get directed to the EP.
R&B has always been a soft spot for me and my taste in music, can’t deny it…. I’m a sucker for it. The homegurrl Vanessa Tam shared this great duo called inc. in her blog post about what she believed was going to be the next big trend in music. I completely agree, the electronic touch that R&B has gotten is really stretching the barriers that the genre had. After listening to no world today from front to back I got incredibly excited to see these guys live. We’ve got these up&coming artists coming to our very own Fortune Sound Club May 27th along with Kelela & Total Freedom. Get tickets at Red Cat Records, Beat Street Records, Highlife, Zulu Records or online here. Click the pic above for more info and check out the video for “the place”.
Don’t forget… Mount Kimbie are at Fortune Sound Club June 13th. This show is going to be amazing, i’ve been waiting for a long time to see these guys. First time I heard them was through Jamie XX’s mix for Benji B a while ago, check that out here. We’ve also got Holy Other opening along with Vinyl Williams. I highly suggest checking this show out, get tickets at Red Cat Records, Zulu Records, Beat Street Records, High or online HERE. Click the pic above for more info on the event and check out the new video for their single “Made To Stray” from their upcoming album “Cold Spring Fault Less Youth”.
