I had heard about this cat through his Frank Ocean and Weeknd remixes which are all amazing. After changing both computers to new ones I completely forgot about him but recently he released a remix for The xx’s “Angels”. Once I heard that I instantly remembered who Sango was and got right back on the bangwagon. His original production is incredibly sensitive, being really relaxing and ambient. The remixes on the other hand are what made this guy be one of the most listened to things this weekend on my iPod, each and everyone stands as amazing by themselves. Besides starting with The Weeknd & Frank Ocean, he also redid Little Dragon & Bon Iver which were absolutely great and didn’t get too far away from the feel of the original tracks yet making it into his own. This Seattle cat is hands down my favourite producer at the moment and should he heard by all, press play and love….. seriously.
